Sampark Kranti Express

Sampark Kranti Express is a set of superfast trains operated by the Indian Railways. These trains were introduced to connect the national capital, Delhi, to various state capitals and major Indian cities with super-fast connectivity of 130 km/hr. The first Sampark Kranti Express began operations in 2004 between New Delhi and Yesvantpur.

These express trains were launched as an alternative to Rajdhani trains, which are fully air-conditioned and therefore, most costly in terms of ticket prices. Sampark Kranti trains offer good passenger comfort with AC and non-AC sleeper coaches, basic travel amenities, clean washrooms, and good safety features.
