The Garden of Five Senses
Sprawled over 20 acres, the Garden of Five Senses is one of the notable places to visit in Delhi. Several pools of water lilies, bamboo, herbs, and other plant species can be seen here.
Red Fort
The Red Fort, or Lal Qila, is among India's most-famous monuments built by the Mughals. All the Mughal emperors lived here until 1857 when the British army conquered the fort and made it the seat of politics and administration. It was built using red sandstone, and the citadel construction took over a decade to complete.
Humayun's Tomb
Humayun's Tomb is located in northern Delhi. You can visit it between 8 AM and 6 PM by paying an entry fee of INR 10. The site is a memorial and an ode to one of the most extraordinary Mughal emperors, Humayun, who was fierce and known for his love for nature and literature.

Tughlaqabad Fort
Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq constructed the Tughlaqabad Fort in 1327. Initially, it had 52 gates, but after ruins, only 13 gates are still intact. An underground passage is built in the fort, with a higher point housing the citadel and a clock tower.
