The journey was good overall until the bus was stopped due to a breakdown, where we had to hop into another bus about 60 km away from Bangalore.

We have booked from Ooty to Bangalore, till Krishnagiri all good. It seems one of the DLT's Ooty bus had a breakdown, they stopped our bus. They didn't say what was the reason, they said only breakdown but bus was moving and some people are still in the bus. Then people started questioning more, then only we figured out the reason. We asked the driver to first drop us to Bangalore since it seems to be 1 hr 15 mins to Silkboard and we are standing in a random place. They are not even replying or giving answers. They are stopping each bus and checking whether seats are available, everyone saying no, only 2 or 3 people got the bus. We stood for an hour and then we got a bus, it was like random, right? We got only in the very last. It's not the first time for the DLT travel, previously we had a bad experience because of breakdown. So we quit booking DLT, since we saw some of the buses have been changed, hence booked. It's okay they are concerned about other buses because not every bus is going to Ooty but already it's late for them (it's been 2 hrs they are standing) and also no replacement bus is there. They should have at least dropped us and then they should have picked them up.
